Random Thoughts on President's Day 2009

It's President's Day - So let's celebrate. I got out and ran 5 miles this morning. I checked out (that means I took a break and walked) a section of the new trail system that runs through Lindon Park. Also checked out the new Lindon City Pool that is under construction.

I'd like to go to the movie 'Taken' later today but don't think I can get the Running Redhead to go along with me.

Last night we had the In-Laws, #1 Son, and Bride over for dinner. We are starting to figure out the convection oven.

#1 Son and Bride are going to make us Grandparents - baby is due in late August.

BA has recommended that we run the Ogden Marathon. That means that training camp is officially open.

Birthday Lunch

My brother Karl and I have had a tradition of taking each other out for lunch to celebrate their birthday. This year I thought, why not add Kairle Ann to the mix. Last week we had lunch at Rib City to celebrate Annie's Birthday. Good times and a great tradition.

Back Packing in the Uinta Mountains

This is Michelle crossing Henry's Fork river. We spent 3 rain filled days and two nights back packing in the Henry's Fork basin. The goal was to summit Kings Peak. A storm kept us off of the summit this time.

In The Beginning

I have to start sometime and it might as well be today.

June has been a very busy month. Tracy and Michelle have attended Young Women's Camp, Alan attended Zion's Camp and Havasupai High Adventure. Work has been crazy in a very good way.
